Gena Opella joined the George, Morgan & Sneed, P.C. team in 2011 as a member of the firm's senior professional staff. Gena specializes in tax preparation, bookkeeping, and IRS correspondence. Prior to joining the firm, Gena worked for a Tax Attorney and was a substitute teacher. She has earned a Bachelor of Accounting and Business Analysis from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Gena is especially active in her local and church communities. She volunteers in the Weatherford school system, is a Sunday School teacher, and a member of the CASA Board of Directors. A proud military spouse that has moved over 14 times in the past 20 years, Gena has been heavily involved with Officer's Spouses Club—serving as Vice President and Treasurer. In her free time, Gena enjoys spending time with her three children, running, fitness, decorating, reading, scrapbooking, and traveling.
