Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

George, Morgan & Sneed, PC is an established accounting firm that provides tax, audit, bookkeeping and payroll services. GMS has served the Weatherford and Parker County area since 1959. We provide “Close Personal Attention” by forming long, lasting relationships with our clients. George, Morgan & Sneed is currently seeking to add a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to our staff. This is a full-time and permanent role.

Qualifications

  • Must have receptionist and/or customer service experience
  • Proficiency required in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook & Word
  • Professional appearance, demeanor, and communications, both written and verbal
  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities
  • Must be Punctual and Reliable
  • Operation of general office equipment including copiers and multi-line phone system
  • Positive driven attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile to help clients and office achieve operational success

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors as soon as they arrive in the office in a professional and friendly manner
  • Assist clients in person, over the phone or via email
  • Maintain Client Database
  • Manage new client onboarding process, including set up and collection of required documentation
  • Processing client information received via mail, drop off, email or client portal
  • Review tax return filing instructions with clients
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail including certified mail and parcel shipping
  • Maintain a professional and organized office environment
  • Scanning and filing necessary documents
  • Various administrative duties specific to a CPA firm
